The Furze Mill was originally a working water mill for grinding Gorse as animal fodder, mainly for horses. It became a ruin after the first world war to be rebuilt in the 1950's by the father of the current owners. It is very spacious and some of its features are a little dated but this is more than compensated for by it's extensive grounds. The secluded rear garden is shown above whilst the front lawn is only yards away from and overlooking the beach.

The first floor comprises of three bedrooms, the master bedroom has a double bed, wall cupboards and fitted wardrobes throughout with views inland over the rear garden.

Bedroom two has twin 6' x 3' single beds. Bedroom three has two single beds (and a drop down single bed) both these bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and adequate drawer space etc., and overlook the front garden with sea views.

Bedroom four which leads off the hallway on the ground floor also has twin beds, a chest of drawers and hanging rail. All beds have pillows and duvets, but linen is not provided.

The bathroom has a bath, wash hand basin, toilet and airing cupboard, additionally there is a separate toilet on the spacious landing.

The ground floor comprises of a large lounge/dining room with two three piece suites, a gate legged table with eight dining chairs, colour TV, radio and electric fire. French windows lead out to the paved patio with table and bench seats.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric cooker, fridge, sink unit and is fully equipped with all crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Off the kitchen is the utility room which has a second sink unit, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and deep freeze.

Heating is by time-controlled electric storage heaters, included in the price. There is a £1 coin meter for all other electrical consumption.
